KAKADU was founded in 2016 in Foshan, China's aluminum capital, with a clear mission: to bring engineering-grade outdoor shading products to a global market that deserved better than flimsy imports and overpriced brands.

KAKADU is the outdoor shading division of Grand Homedecor Group, a vertically integrated aluminum group whose extrusion heritage dates back to 1995 — one of the Pearl River Delta's most established manufacturers of precision aluminum profiles for construction and facade projects worldwide. This group structure gives us something rare among shading brands: true in-house manufacturing, from raw aluminum billet casting to profile extrusion, powder coating, and final assembly — all under one roof, one quality system, and one team.
Vertical Integration, Full Control
KAKADU products are manufactured at our group's integrated production campus in Nanhai, Foshan — one of the most concentrated aluminum industry clusters in the world. The campus spans over 200,000 square meters across three facilities and operates with a level of vertical integration uncommon in the outdoor shading industry.
The result is a supply chain where every step — alloy formulation, extrusion, surface finishing, fabrication, and final assembly — operates under a single quality management system. That means shorter lead times, full material traceability, and a product we can stand behind with confidence.

Bioclimatic Louvered Pergolas
Our flagship product line. Motorized or manual adjustable roof pergolas with blade widths from 140mm to 300mm, custom spans up to 7 meters, integrated LED lighting, rain-sensor auto-close, and 100% waterproof sealing. Engineered for snow loads up to 200 kg/m² and built to withstand coastal winds.
Zip-Track Outdoor Blinds
Side-channel zipper-track screens designed to enclose pergolas, verandas, and balconies. Wind-resistant up to 120 km/h, with solar-shade, blackout, and clear-view fabric options. Available in motorized and manual operation, with smart-home integration.
Cassette Retractable Awnings
Full-cassette folding-arm awnings with widths up to 6 meters, featuring 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabric, aluminum die-cast arms, and optional integrated LED light bars. A clean, cassette-protected solution for patios and terraces.
Aluminum Plantation Shutters
Indoor and outdoor aluminum shutters with 89mm louvers, available in fixed, bi-folding, and sliding configurations. Zero UV transmittance, a shading coefficient as low as 0.11, and a powder-coated finish that will not warp, crack, or fade.
